This is a floor-length robe in satin, teal blue, printed with a floral and peacock motif across the back and sleeves. It follows a traditional kimono cut: wide dropped sleeves, an open front, one generous size that adjusts to different body shapes. Satin is the reason to buy it. The fabric has a smooth, glossy hand and a soft sheen that reads elegant without looking like a costume, and it stays comfortable against the skin from an hour to a full evening of wear.
The peacock print sets it apart from a plain satin robe: it is patterned enough to wear as outerwear over a plain dress, not just as loungewear behind closed doors.

How do I care for my kimono?
Follow the care label on your piece. Cotton and polyester kimonos usually take a cold, gentle wash and hang to dry. Silk and satin pieces prefer a gentle hand wash in cold water, no wringing and no tumble dryer.
