Unlike most of the shop's kimonos, this one has short sleeves and a hip-length cut, closer to a cropped top than a robe, and the teal base keeps the floral print feeling cool rather than sweet or heavy. The cropped length is closer to a swim top than a robe.
The cotton-rayon blend is soft and light, breathable enough for a hot afternoon, and the shorter length makes it easy to move in without fabric dragging or catching. How do I care for my kimono?
Follow the care label on your piece. Cotton and polyester kimonos usually take a cold, gentle wash and hang to dry. Silk and satin pieces prefer a gentle hand wash in cold water, no wringing and no tumble dryer.
