This kimono cover up comes in green with a peacock feather print, made from a cotton and rayon blend and cut to hip length. It has an open front and short, wide sleeves, light enough to wear over a swimsuit or a summer dress. The peacock feathers are rendered in shades of green and blue, giving the print some depth rather than a flat, single-tone pattern.
The peacock feather print is bold without being overwhelming, spread across the green base in a way that reads more boho than formal. It is one of the shorter pieces in the range, easy to layer without adding much bulk. Because it sits shorter than the ankle-length robes in the collection, it works better for everyday errands than for lounging around the house.
Wear it open over a swimsuit for the beach, or tied loosely at the waist over jeans and a plain top for everyday wear. Knot the ties at the front instead of the side for a slightly different shape. How do I care for my kimono?
Follow the care label on your piece. Cotton and polyester kimonos usually take a cold, gentle wash and hang to dry. Silk and satin pieces prefer a gentle hand wash in cold water, no wringing and no tumble dryer.
