It has an open front and no ties, so it's built to be worn loose rather than closed, falling to somewhere around mid-calf depending on your height. The leaf print is spaced out rather than dense, so plenty of the base blue still shows through.
The sheerness is part of the point here: it's a layer for adding coverage and color without adding weight, which is why it works so well straight over a swimsuit on a hot day. How do I care for my kimono?
Follow the care label on your piece. Cotton and polyester kimonos usually take a cold, gentle wash and hang to dry. Silk and satin pieces prefer a gentle hand wash in cold water, no wringing and no tumble dryer.
