A knee-length pink cover up in matte cotton, printed with a small, ditsy floral pattern rather than a bold print, which makes it easier to wear with more of your wardrobe. Cut short compared to our ankle-length robes, it sits at the knee and moves easily, closer to a light dress than a full robe. The soft pink and small-scale print make it a gentler piece than our brighter satins, and one that reads as daywear rather than nightwear.
Because it comes in three sizes, the fit through the shoulders and bust stays closer to the body than our one-size robes, which matters if you plan to wear it belted as a dress on its own. The soft pink also photographs well against tanned skin, which is part of why it does so well as a beach piece.
Wear it open over a swimsuit at the beach or pool, or belted on its own as a light summer dress. Matte cotton is forgiving in the heat and holds up to repeated washing better than satin, so it is a practical choice for a piece you will want to wear all summer, not just for one trip.

How do I care for my kimono?
Follow the care label on your piece. Cotton and polyester kimonos usually take a cold, gentle wash and hang to dry. Silk and satin pieces prefer a gentle hand wash in cold water, no wringing and no tumble dryer.
