A knee-length cover up in sheer cotton, orange and tan, with an abstract floral print that reads more painterly than literal. Unlike the ankle-length pieces in this collection, this one stops at the knee, which makes it easier to move in and easier to wear as a jacket rather than a robe. The sheer weave is the whole appeal: it gives coverage without heat, so it works over a swimsuit on days when a full cover up feels like too much fabric.
The orange and tan palette sits apart from the blues and pinks elsewhere in the collection, closer to a sunset than a floral garden, which makes it easy to pair with denim or plain white. It is also shorter than most of our other cover ups, which means less fabric to gather when you sit down.
Wear it open over a bikini for the beach, or belt it over a plain dress for something closer to a going-out jacket. Because the fabric is light and sheer, it packs small for travel and does not wrinkle the way heavier cottons do, so it survives a suitcase far better than satin.

How do I care for my kimono?
Follow the care label on your piece. Cotton and polyester kimonos usually take a cold, gentle wash and hang to dry. Silk and satin pieces prefer a gentle hand wash in cold water, no wringing and no tumble dryer.
