This kimono cover up comes in sky blue, made from polyester and cut to hip length with a relaxed, wrap-style fit and flared sleeves. Without a print, the plain sky blue keeps it easy to pair with any swimsuit or outfit underneath. Without a print to lean on, the sky blue and the flared sleeves are the two features that carry the whole piece.
The flared sleeves and loose cut give it plenty of movement, closer to a light jacket than a fitted top. It suits the beach as easily as it suits a plain t-shirt and shorts on a warm day at home, worn open or loosely tied. The flared sleeve shape also sets it apart from the more fitted, close-cut cover ups found elsewhere in the collection.

Wear it open over a swimsuit for the walk to the water, or tie it loosely at the waist for a bit more shape. Because polyester does not absorb much water, it works well as a light layer even over a damp swimsuit. Polyester also dries quickly, which matters if it gets splashed or damp from wet hair after a swim. Wash cold and hang dry, no ironing needed.

How do I care for my kimono?
Follow the care label on your piece. Cotton and polyester kimonos usually take a cold, gentle wash and hang to dry. Silk and satin pieces prefer a gentle hand wash in cold water, no wringing and no tumble dryer.
