A short robe in white silk-blend satin, printed with a Japanese-inspired crane motif that sits along the body and sleeves. It's cut to thigh length with wide sleeves and an open front, made to sit light on the shoulders rather than wrap heavily around the body like a longer robe would. The white base keeps the crane print crisp and easy to see rather than muddled.
The material is a silk and polyester blend, which keeps the sheen and softness people expect from silk while holding up better to regular wear and repeated washing. How do I care for my kimono?
Follow the care label on your piece. Cotton and polyester kimonos usually take a cold, gentle wash and hang to dry. Silk and satin pieces prefer a gentle hand wash in cold water, no wringing and no tumble dryer.
